Al-Nassr Announces Transfer on Social Media

“Let’s achieve victory together! Al-Nassr announced on X that Joao Felix has joined the team, sharing a brief video of the striker. The 25-year-old expressed, ‘I’m here to enjoy the game and win with everyone!'”

Neither club shared the exact financial details of the deal, but according to Sky Sports, the overall cost of the transfer could reach about £43.7 million (or about S$75.08 million). This amount includes an initial payment of £26.2 million, with an additional £17.5 million possible based on certain future conditions.

Joao Felix’s Career Journey Timeline

At the age of 19, Felix transferred to Atletico Madrid in 2019 after a massive transfer from the Portuguese soccer team Benfica. After spending some time there, he went on loan to Chelsea for the 2022-2023 season. The next season, he was loaned out again, this time to Barcelona. Finally, in August 2024, he decided to make his stay at Chelsea permanent.

After only six months, Chelsea sent the forward to play for AC Milan, and he has now made a recent move to a team in Saudi Arabia.

Portugal Stars Reunite at Al-Nassr

Felix will be teaming up with Portugal team captain, Cristiano Ronaldo, in the football club Al-Nassr. The team is managed by a coach from Portugal named Jorge Jesus.

On August 19, they will play against Al-Ittihad in the semi-finals of the Saudi Super Cup.
